Introducing the WithWaves AmazonMP3Bot – a Google Wave robot and gadget – which enables social mp3 music research and shopping on Amazon.com. The AmazonMP3Bot gadget and bot can detect audio products and return inline links based on a Wave conversation or keyword query autodetecting artist name, song title, or album.

Install the AmazonMP3Bot robot & gadget

Installing both the AmazonMP3Bot robot & gadget is a one-step process. Simply add a new Wave participant and enter the following contact:

Once added as a conversation participant, the AmazonMP3Bot robot will listen and automatically convert identifiable artists, songs and albums into Amazon MP3 product links.

How-to search AmazonMP3

To initiate a specific product search, simply type the following at any time into your Wave conversation:

music: keywords

AmazonBot will reply and insert a music listening gadget which will be shared amongst all conversation members. There you can play your favorite songs and albums.

Install AmazonMP3Bot Gadget only

In order to install the AmazonMP3Bot Gadget (sans robot and auto links for music terms), create a new message and select the Insert Gadget feature. Enter the following URL for “Enter the URL for a gadget you want to add” in the “Add by XML” field:

The gadget is also available as an extension installer so people can use it in other waves. We encourage you to offer this option to audiences that may benefit from Amazon MP3 music searches. Simply add this extension installer in Waves where there might be audiences interested in Music.
