The Google Wave AmazonBot just received a tiny update adding support for querying a single Amazon.com department e.g Electronics or Software. Anyone who has spent any time shopping for items on Amazon can agree there is too much good stuff. We realized that as convenient as it is to carry a conversation on Google Wave with the AmazonBot running in the background, the results may be too scattered. A simple query for ‘iPhone’ may return results from Amazon Books, Electronics, or Wireless. Remember when Google announced its web based email service Gmail? Who can forget the commotion and surge of interest as invitations to the service began trickling out of the Mountain View, CA headquarters.
